Capes Lighthouses and Caves
- Aghia Vaso
The locals call by the name of Aghia Vaso, it is the same magical and deserted beach shown on the maps and referred to as Aghios Vatos. Starting our dive almost from the coast, we meet a vertical wall which continues gradually till the 23m. The more experienced divers may continue their dive descending even to a deeper step leading to a depth of 35meters or more. Large holes in the base of the walls, rocks forming arches, stunning solitaires compose a fascinating underwater landscape. Items which have been integrated into the ground show that the area has been a naval passage from even the ancient years.
- Aghia Vaso Vathia
An endless forest of soft corals (gorgonian) at a depth of 30 meters below the surface fascinates with its beauty those who have the fortune to dive in that location. Returning to shallower waters, dozens of nudibranchs in various shapes and forms sway in the gentle stream. Ideal location form underwater photography.
- Mavro Kavo (in the Island of Peristera )
A dive in exquisite visibility and particularly rocky seabed with an increased life with groupers, moray eels and lobsters. Very often we may find large jacks and tunas. It offers you the possibility of diving all year round.
- Mavro Lithari (in the island of Peristera)
It is a very interesting bay with many solitaires where one may find many large groupers.
- Trikeri Lighthouse
The Trikeri Lighthouse was built in 1864 by the French Association of Lighthouses The reasons which led to its construction become quite clear to anyone who dives in the area. Scattered objects which have become one with the rocky ground have witnessed many shipwrecks having occurred here since the ancient years. The seabed is smooth with scattered clumps of rocks hanging over the white sand, offering the necessary conditions for a nice, calm, relaxing and really enjoyable dive.
- Repi Lighthouse
The Repi is a small uninhabited island of the North Sporades, located east of Skiathos Island. On the island of Repi there is a lighthouse which was built in 1914. In that location one can enjoy an interesting dive in mid and deep depths with beautiful rocky formations.
- Cave at the Northeastern side of Island of Alonnisos
The stunning blue cave of Alonnisos where at the northern part we find at depths of 40m-50m increased underwater life, gorgonians and corals in its deep spots.
- Cave at the Northeastern side of Island of Dassia
A dive of maximum 35m depth, where one can meet a classical mediterranean life landscape combined with rocks leading to a sandy net.
- Cave at Southwestern side of Island of Dassia
This is one of the special locations of the region with very steep depths that reach 100 meters depth and have a particular interest to divers. The cave is shallow and passes through the southeastern edge of the island of Dassia.
